Your still in Alex's apartment with your mom you start to cry your mom pulls you into a hug I'm sorry mom you don't get to apologise for someone else's actions your mom puts her arms around you making you feel safe this is what we are gonna do I will fill the paperwork out in the morning you will file them with auntie Alex, Alex nods you need to inform manda as she is your partner and she will keep you safe you nod. You are moving back in with me & your dad as we can keep you safe we are gonna go back home now and talk to your dad together no mom please shhh baby it's will be ok I will tell your dad but you will need to be there when I tell him ok mom that's my girl Liv smiles. She holds your hand as you head to the car we've got this your mom says to you she drives you back home as you put your tired head on her shoulder everything will be ok trust me I trust you with my life mom good. You walk through the apartment door sit you sit on the couch your mom makes you a hot drink stay there Elliot yes can you come here a minute I need to discuss something With you Elliot walks out he rubs his eyes Liv says sit with your daughter she needs you right now he see's the fear in your eyes her bf yes tried to strangle her & kill her tonight WHAT elliot sit down now you burst out crying your dad puts his arms around you this is why she went to Alex because she didn't want you to do anything Stupid we are gonna do this the proper way not with our fists I'm gonna be filling a restraining order out on him while you will follow procedure to the book Elliot nods. Our daughter is moving back in with us as we will be keeping her safe Elliot nod liv yeah pass the blanket she cried herself to sleep Liv passes Elliot the blanket she wiped herself out from crying. Elliot I mean it though what I said I know you do that's the scary part you go rest I will stay up with her as I think she will need us both after tonight elliot nods.

I need to tell you something.

Your in your moms office in manda's arms still, honey you look up at your mom will you go home with manda while I fill this paperwork out so aunty Alex can file your restraining order and he can't touch you or harm you or come anywhere near you ever again you nod. You stand up and walk with manda to the elvator to go home you walk to the car where you get in the car and rest your head on manda's shoulders. You arrive at home with manda where you go and sit on the couch while manda makes you a coffee thanks manda anytime. You rest your head on manda's shoulders as you fall asleep on her as she puts her arms around you. Alex steps in smartly dressed holding her briefcase in one as she walks in with the other well manda whispers Alex holds it up we got it yes Alex rings Liv from the living room Liv yes we got it she sighs with relief finally. Right I'm on my way home ok see you shortly Alex sits with you & manda on the couch you turn over to Alex and rest your head on her shoulder you put your arms around Alex where you hands rest in Alex's. Just then Liv walks through the door with handbag on one arm with phone, keys & jacket in another, Alex head out to go home. Liv & manda on the couch with you there's loud bang at the which startles you immediately wake up grabbing your moms hand manda gets up pulling her gun out it's him she manda says Liv pulls her radio out I need all possible units to my location suspect maybe armed and dangerous you whole body is shaking uncontrollable through fear.

The following morning you wake to find your mom in the kitchen drinking coffee as you walk to the kitchen counter with a smile on your face your mom looks up what nothing there something different about you today different how I don't know yet as I can't put my finger a-ha but when I do you'll know you nod ok mom. So what are your plans for today to go over my plans with Casey ok right I gotta go into work today for a few hours as she kisses your cheek you want me to drop you off at Casey's office sure mom that be great then I'll meet you for lunch ok then you ready you nod your mom drops you off at the courthouse as you walk to Casey & Alex office you knock come in Alex & Casey are both in I need discuss something with both of you Alex smiles as she knows what's coming you have your notepad and pens this look serious it is. Coffee please as you sit down I have a plan right I ran it past Aunty Alex this morning yes 2am oh that's why you ratty & snappy Alex looks at Casey with discussed I need both of you for this both of us yes I want to open a centre that helps victims who flee from there home right but I want to do on call councillors and on call ADA's for legal advice like Alex has said she has already committed herself to it but she can't do it all by herself that's where you come in Casey I'd like you on board Alex did you help here with this speech no this is all her how many weekends would I have to work 2 on 2 off ok casey says ok I'm in you are as you jump up with excitement really yes really you hug your Aunts thank you thank you?so much, you dont know how much this means to me yes I think we do. Ok thank you guys where you off to mom to tell her the good news ok get your mom to ring us when you get there so we know you got there safe will do you run to precinct mom mom she stands up as you walk into her office you need ring Aunty Alex to let her I got here safe Liv nods Alex yes she's here good.

Your catching your breath back when Liv hangs up the phone so Casey says I gave good argument to my case and I should be an ADA Liv laughs I bet she did. Well I applied for planning permission for the centre to be built next to SVU you look up from your notebook you did yes do you think we will get it approved can't see why not just then manda walks in hey manda hey sweetie your mom is called out of the office what's up I didn't sleep great last night you look up at her did you get any sleep no go home manda looks up at you, you sure yes you put your arms around her and give her a hug I will cover your shift you sure I'm sure thanks it's ok you do same for me and I'll see you tomorrow manda nods as she grabs her things and heads towards the elevator. Your mom walks back in where manda going home why because she didn't sleep great last night and she is no use to us here so I'm covering her shift you sure yes I'm sure mom she would do same for me mom she would. Mom why you giving me that look what look I don't know what you are talking about you think I was born yesterday it's because your showing potential of becoming the next Sargent really your mom nods you think so I know so it no big deal really you took initiative while I was out of the office you put manda health first yes but, no buts a decision needed to be made & you wasn't here so I made it for you I hope that was ok that was more than ok.

Manda helps you with your mom into the apartment as you sit her down on the couch you sit at the kitchen counter with manda she will regret this in the morning yep but you need to eat so what you wanna me to cook for you spaghetti manda starts cooking spaghetti for you. Manda yes thanks for today for helping me with mom she looks up at you as she kisses you anytime manda yes you will need to help me get her to bed ok manda plates up the spaghetti as you get the cutlery out of the draw you sit at kitchen counter with manda eating your spaghetti. Why does she get in this state because she was celebrating your win and your pregnancy yes but it still dangerous I know what your saying I just don't get it she could got her drink spiked or anything I know where your coming from because I do, I'll be having words with her in morning I bet you will manda helps you get your mom into bed I'm gonna leave you to to it now ok thanks manda you get into bed you put your head on your mom's chest and start crying your mom wakes up instantly hey look at me what's up I can't believe it finally over after months of hell Is it actually finally all over mom yes it is let all out you burst into tears I've got you ok you knod you cry for hours till you cry yourself to sleep your mom kisses you and wraps her arms around you.

I wrote this while I was in 8th grade of middle school and must I say I had to stand up for myself a lot. Because I'm a black girl I was seen as a threat to others and that I didn't deserve the same freedoms and rights as others. All of this is happening while I'm in middle school but this was a poetry assignment that I did for my ELA class. I believe I was thirteen at the time but as I kept this, I read it every once and a while. Now it's time I share it with you. I hope you like it and understand what I was trying to say plus express.

Shae is only 17, but fighting for her life. Atleast her boyfriend loves her, but is her trauma going to change everything? At least She thought it wouldn't, until it did. Will her dads drinking problems get in the way? Will her moms sudden appearance break her even more? Will someone be there to pick up all the pieces? or will she just break until there's nothing left?...

I know some people on wattpad have depression and hate their selves, so I'm doing this book to show them that they MATTER. ☺☺☺ Believe in your self - you are beautiful 😄
