I trip over a root, and tumble down the hill. It's as if I went under water. I hear the pounding of feet, but it seems all so muffled. Stars dance in my vision. They run down towards me, ready to strike. They are only a yard away, when a light radiates above me. It grow brighter and brighter by the second. It seems to slowly descend. Then it rockets off towards the enemy. The last thing I hear are people screaming, and someone calling my name. ............... Everything is okay in the life of Leo Parsh, until "they" arrive. We do not know who "they" is, and they would like to keep it that way. However, when new dangers arrive "they" are slowly, but surely, forced into the light which they have always avoided. It took me almost a full year to finish writing due to that reason. Anyways, it's really short but I plan on rewriting it so here's the original.
