Hanging by a thread, the world is pummelled into a dystopian future. Genetic Modification has become the norm. Farming has ceased to exist. Plants and Crops have. Animals have. Everything consumed is artificial. The only natural elements left in the world are now the people occupying it as well as a few other elements. The world has erred and is in need of saving. But what happens when mother nature decides to intervene? When the last resolve is biological innovation- free of mankind's interference? What happens when evolution strikes some of the humans again? But more importantly, what happens when the change in genealogy is to reject everything artificial and consume the only thing in the world that is natural... These two types of species of homosapiens that are struggling to "co-exist" on earth. Humans and Subordinates. But why are Subordinates despised and considered less than humans? Humans and Subordinates are exactly the same. They look the same. They live in sectors too. They feel emotions. They have faiths. They die. There is only one difference. A difference in biology. A difference in genealogy that people are born with. A difference that can't be helped. A difference that cant be changed. A difference that can't be tamed. But the difference is grave. Frightening. Exigent. Dire. Most importantly, the difference is unchangeable. Unthinkable. Insatiable. Subordinates do not share the same source of nutrition as humans do. They only have one source of nutrition, unlike humans who are lucky to have various choices. But alike to humans, nutrition is needed for survival. For living. And so to survive, Subordinates must eat to receive their nutrition. Their only source of nutrition; the only energy source that is not artificial ... humans.

Being a high school freshman is hard enough, but what is a girl to do when her own mother has become venomous, her twin brother rockets to the forefront of high school popularity, and no amount of styling products will keep her hair tamed? As she makes friends and falls in love with her longtime crush, Cheyanne Xiomara Strait proves that though we all must face our genetic legacy, we are not owned by it.

Everyone on Earth is now born with fate tattoos showing people who their soulmate is and how they will die. A girl, Delilah Turner, has been born with just two names on her body denoting her soulmate and her killer. The killer tattoo is not normal. Usually the tattoo shows the method of how you will die in this life. So where other people at least know what to expect, she is left totally in the dark. She has a nonexistent father and a strained relationship with her mother. Her brother is a jerk, and she just feels like she doesn't belong. After a tragedy strikes, she goes to live with her aunt and uncle where she meets her new, unexpected best friend June and the possible soulmate/killer duo in a set of twins that attend her new school. The four people form a strange bond and go on a quest together for answers.

"In order to get into this school, you weren't supposed to be scared of work. The three-steps application took almost a whole year for Keely to prepare. Gaulthier had prepared it too, well, at least, he had started as early as his 15th birthday to talk about it. The essay that would change his life, he used to say with a cocky smile. Sitting besides him at the kitchen table, Keely remembed the slight frown on her face at that moment. She didn't think an essay could change life. She think people could. Little did she know how deeply both the essay, and him, could ruin hers. "

This book isn't Fiction. This book isn't Nonfiction. This book is about things that we see happening every single day but don't talk about. About things, we see at school. At work. Down the block. At the coffee shop. Things we see everywhere. This book is a series of stories. There is no main character for you to route for, no villain for you to hate, no supporting best friend role. This book is about different things we see every day. This will handle some very deep and triggering subjects, such as minor solicitation, rape, abuse, etc. Please, if any of those topics are harmful to you, I suggest that you do not read this book, or skim the chapter to see what the chapter will be tackling so you can avoid that subject if you want to. This book isn't a joke. Throughout this book, I will be writing in several different formats. Poetry format, screenplay format, novel format, article, first, second, and third person to get a full experience, again this book will handle very touching subjects, such as rape, abuse, hate, etc. This will not only target negative subject matters but I highly suggest you, as the author, to question yourself as a reader and thinker. This book is to challenge you, your humanity, and your conscience.

You've heard her side of the story. And now... you'll hear theirs. They're the guys who contacted Mercedes Ayres for one reason: To lose their virginity. Maybe they heard a rumor about her services. Maybe a friend told them. Or maybe they found out by accident. Some of them are nervous and want to make sure their girlfriends have the perfect first time. Some of them don't know what they're getting into. And some of them want to find out exactly how far a lie will get them. In this series, you'll get to know the story behind each of the guys who get into Mercedes' bedroom. Tommy Hudson, the boy in a long-term relationship who unintentionally starts the whole thing. Nerdy Evan Brown, who just wants to rock his girlfriend's world. Chase Redgrave, whose actions definitely don't speak louder than words. Handsome Orlando, who might be hiding his true intentions behind a killer smile. And everyone in between. What happens in Mercedes' bedroom is supposed to stay there. But these guys are about to find out that it might be harder to keep the secret than they ever thought possible. Ten virgins. Ten stories. Ten weeks. Because before every first time, there's a whole lot of second guessing.
