To the Shattered Dreams of my Youth is a various recollection of a traumatic childhood. It covers major themes such as sexual abuse, suicide, freedom and most importantly, growth and perseverence. It beautifully encapsulates the forthcoming emotions of a young survivor and embodies the seedling of hope that derives from our suffering. This book was written in hopes to inspire others to live despite the pain of our existence, because in pain, there is life, there is beauty and there is hope. Live on, a declaration of love to those who never felt that they deserved it, and to all the souls who resonate with this story, to those who survived and those who could not make it.
