When Mags finds herself in the thick of a situation related with local gangs of San Francisco, a cop finds himself intent on protecting her. Jay had some secrets of his own, which will undoubtedly have an affect on the situation at hand. Magnolia never lets people into her life, for the fear of leaving them behind when she passes on. She tries not to let this cop into her life, but of course it isn't as easy as she thought it would be. With only months left to live, Mags has to decide if she will stay lonely, or let Jay into her life. Trigger Warnings: I want to briefly describe why these warnings are in place, because the severity of a triggering action varies from person to person. That way you can have some sort of idea of why I decided to give this warning. I hope it helps a bit :) Death: Magnolia has to deal with knowing that she is going to die one day, which many people actually deal with now. Rape: Just a little bit! There won't be any graphic description of rape, but it is mentioned in a certain passage. Depression: Magnolia also deals with depression.
