I started standing up but then I see a female enter the room behind him and they get directed to a booth with another couple. I pretend to adjust my dress and sit back down. That’s embarrassing.Its like when you are waving to someone but they have no idea who you are. The booth diagonal from our table started laughing. I could feel my checks get warm. I take a sip of my water and look over. It was a group of business men sorting papers and drinking scotch. They all were laughing hysterically except the man on the end facing me. He was smirking. His blue eyes staring at me. It was like he knew who I was but scowled like he could not remember how. I never meet him before.. until now."
