This book was marveling for me to write. Filled with a series of poems and short stories. Simple songs and testing essays. Questions of inquiry, and basically any form of writing that holds value to me. Unexpectedly taking a turn to its meaning, this book became an outlet for me. It became a remembrance of lectures and pondering. Life skills, and guidance. Somewhere to tune my thoughts, and create a segment of my conscious I can uphold. I can admire, and encourage in it's growth. Emotionally challenging. Honestly spoken. Imagination filled. All of it's here. A place to pick my brain, and you watch as I assemble it.

My brothers are Luka who is 23, Dominic is 25, Aleksandr is 27, and Nikolai is 29. They've been gone for two almost three years and are now coming back after searching for their mates. My fingers wrapped around the fraying rope of the wood swing; which was tied to the ancient, decaying chestnut tree. I swung, allowing gravity to play as my legs swayed up and down. "Lunara," my mother called, slipping her head out of the house door. "Come inside." "Five more minutes, please!" my 9 year-old self whimpered. Mother grinned. "Only if you can answer this: what is the best keeper of secrets, never willfully disclosing and unable to be pried open?" "A treasure chest?" I guessed, scrunching my eyebrows in confusion. My mother was not one to tell jokes. "No, think harder, more about nature, perhaps." "Chestnuts?" "You're smarter than me, my darling," she giggled. "Is that why my tree is dying?" Is it sick because its chestnuts hold too many of my secrets? ~~~ Lunara Dalgarno is a diligent, quiet, ambitious girl, and has been known as such ever since she could remember. Hy. This is my first published Story! I've wanted to do something like this for a while now, and im still new so please give me constructive criticism if you can! English is not my first language so there may be a few mistakes but I will try to avoid them.
