Everything was supposed to go smoothly, but now everything is falling apart, and somehow Rose Alderidge is smacked down in the middle of it with nothing, but wit and mediocre magic skills, to help her along. Lily knows something the others don't and when Remus's secret is threatened she steps in. Remus is skeptical at first but this solves both their problems. Lily has an excuse to keep James from bugging her and Remus has an excuse to refuse the dates the marauders set him up with.
