Swept to a magical land by a tornado, Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto, must find their way back home to Kansas. Along the challenging adventure, they make three new friends who are each searching for their own hearts desire. The friends encounter many obstacles along the way, including a vengeful Wicked Witch and other strange and interesting creatures that live in the land, all while learning more about themselves in the process. Loosely based off the book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a 1900 children's novel written by author L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow. It is the first novel in my version of the Oz series of books. *** The first tale in my adaption of the fantastical Oz series by L. Frank Baum. My adaptation of Baum's first book, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," remains faithful to the original narrative structure, while introducing captivating modifications to the storyline, origins of certain characters, and the fusion of select chapters. In crafting this rendition, I sought to pay homage to the rich tapestry of Oz adaptations that have graced our screens over the years. Notably, I drew inspiration from the iconic 1939 MGM classic and its enchanting Disney 1985 semi-Sequel, "Return to Oz," as well as the beloved "Wicked" series, SyFy's enthralling "Tin Man" miniseries from 2007, Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), and the captivating Oz episodes of "Once Upon a Time." To breathe life into the pages, I decided to create live-action illustrations for the book. I used a mix of the MGM Wizard of Oz, Return to Oz (1985), and other Oz adaptations to create the visuals.

Found in a dusty attic, hidden under a mound of misplaced bits and bobs, I came upon a tome full of legends, myths, and most importantly monsters. It was a glimpse into an unknown world, a window to Tartarus's most bizarre and mysterious creatures. I read into the night ignoring the time until at last my eyes grew heavy and I sank into dreams. When I awoke, the book had left my lap. For a moment I thought I had lost it. Then I saw it. Across the room it hovered in the air held in place by a pair of disembodied hands. A voice called out, "Welcome to the unseen." The hands vanished and the book fell into a cloud of dust. I have not touched it since. **This is an extension to the Mirror Me Series. Please enjoy this collection of short stories and how-to tips on banishing and befriending monsters unique to the series.**

Ellis never meant to find the end of the rainbow. Two years ago, Ellis Carr lost everything when a violent storm took his parents-two fearless storm chasers who vanished into the sky and were never found. Since then, storms have terrified him. Now living on his grandfather's quiet farm, Ellis tries to keep his world small and safe. But one night, the sky does something impossible. A glowing ring of lightning forms above the fields, spilling colors across the clouds like a living rainbow. When Ellis follows the strange pull of a red handkerchief his mother once gave him, he discovers a hidden door at the very end of the rainbow. Beyond it lies a magical realm filled with fairies, strange creatures, and a growing darkness known only as The Shadow. If Ellis wants to save this world-and perhaps uncover the truth about what really happened to his parents-he will have to face the very storms he fears most. Some doors change everything. And some storms were never meant to be chased.
