Drug abuse is not contained to within the underprivileged sectors of our society. It can knock on any door. Young people can typically tune out if they feel they are being bombarded with too much information. Parents attempting to talk to their children about the dangers of experimenting with drugs, can quite often be seen as ‘lecturing’. A short enough read where a young person will not get bored before the end, yet long enough to get across a powerful and hard hitting message on the dangers of experimenting. The young teenager is elated when given the opportunity to experiment with Heroin. The 'pushers' are friendly and offering it for free. How could she say no!
