Well, I've lived on this old street for ages now. Built the house here myself with nothin' but blood, sweat, an' tears. Lived here with two people I loved very much. I was happy in this house at one point. But it didn't last for all that long. Funny how life does that; gives you a glimpse o' happiness, a pure and wholesome brand o' wonderful bliss...then it takes it all away in the blink of an eye. No one travels down this dead-end road anymore; they all know better. I couldn't 'member the last time I'd had a visitor. I been alone here for so long, but I don't feel lonely no more. Jus' empty. Numb, in a way.
