Some feelings don't need a confession to exist. They grow quietly day by day, glance by glance. This is one of those feelings.

Permanent, Until I Wasn't is a raw young adult story about friendship that cuts deeper than romance, the slow unraveling of trust, and the moment you realise that some people are only forever until they aren't. As Lucy drifts towards more temporary new friends and darker nights, Arabella finds herself left behind, excluded in small, devastating ways that are easy to excuse.. and impossible to forget. Lucy still calls her permanent, but for how long? How long until Lucy falls to a dark world that is impossible to get back from..? And how long until Arabella realises that Lucy is just keeping her around..?

Book 1 of 2 There is no doubt that this story is about love, but romance might be a smaller part of it. This story is about love in all of its different disguises. It's about friends and family who would burn the world for each other, and family who would burn the world to be away from one another. But mainly, this story is about Rose living out her last year in high school with all of its difficulties and hardships and love and acceptance and weird teachers and mythical creatures. And even after all of that, you're still mainly searching for romance? Fine.
