something of a memoir or personal narrative. initially this was going to be mostly for me to reflect and get over some of my trauma, but i also feel someone else could benefit from this. to make someone else feel less alone walking the line of knowing something isn't right and that you're being mistreated but the shame and embarrassment of wondering if you're simply being a baby. the "older angry sister" title and the pain that comes with it. religious trauma intertwined. you're not alone. this is just a piece of a basic rough draft, i will be coming back and adding more specific details and continuing. thank you.

Hey there, lovely people! I hope all of you are doing well! Each and every one of you!! Remember back in 2019 when I released my book filled with words of encouragement and hope? Well, I've made the decision to take that original book down and give it a complete makeover!! Have you ever had those moments when you've felt like you're not good enough? Like you're just taking up space in this world? Or have you questioned your purpose and existence, wondering why you're even here? It's not easy to fight off those negative and depressive thoughts that creep into our minds. Life can throw us curveballs and it can be a real challenge to keep moving forward. My story of coming to realize that spiritual coaching has many similarities to cults and MLM scams.

In the years that followed, she battled against epilepsy, depression, cult mentalities, infidelity, and infertility, driven by the belief that somehow, somewhere, there must be more to life. These are some poems I wrote. I started about a year ago. I wrote them in a very difficult period of my life that was very overwhelming and in which I worried a lot. Please be nice, I know they might not be the best, and I'm open to feedback, but the poems are very personal so please no hate :) Please also beware that some of the poems might discuss some darker themes, such as mentionings of blood, self-harm and/or suicide, these were not written to shock people so they shouldn't be too frightening, but if you're very sensitive to that kind of stuff or if that could be triggering, please keep that in mind before starting to read. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy ! PS: I was in the process of getting help while writing these and if you are feeling like this or relating to any of the poems in this collection I highly encourage you to consider if you might benefit from getting help from a mental health professional and/or talking to someone you trust about what's on your mind, preferably a parent or trusted adult, but a friend can help a lot as well! This is a poetic version of me writing about my life. If you want to be a critic and say it's not a poem, be my guess. This is just a lyrical way I wanted to write but I needed something to write about so I chose my life. I hope you enjoy. I've put a lot of effort into this, I hope it's worth the while.
