Peter can't figure out how to admit his feelings to his best friend. He feels like any of the usual methods (chocolate, poems, flowers, etc.) would just make her burst out laughing for an hour before giving him her answer. He wanted to do the impossible and sweep Nico Minoru off her feet. Well, a confession from Spider-Man was as good as a confession from Petr Parker, right? Or I'm a sucker for 'Friends to Lovers' and other isn't enough Peter Parker x Nico Minoru in the world.

"'Come back to LA,' they said. 'We need to stop our evil parents,' they said. Great idea, by the way, guys! If only it accounted for the slight possibility of our parents stopping us!!!" Who would've thought that stopping your evil parents a second time would be so difficult? Nico has been separated from the rest of the Runaways and her parents are giving her a lot of trouble. Luckily, she knows a boy her parents would definitely not approve of.
