Kaori Miyazono has no way out. The symptoms of her illness have worsened, and the only way out is a dangerous surgery that could also easily kill her if something goes wrong. Her doctor, a mysterious but kindhearted man, takes pity on her and offers her an alternative: a simple blood transfusion may be all she needs to alleviate her illness and become strong enough to play another duet with the boy she loves, Kousei Arima. And he himself will be her donor. Kaori and her parents accept this offer, grateful for the doctor's help. But they have no idea of the hell they are about to unleash. For this doctor is the greatest villain from Japan's Taisho Period, thought defeated at the hands of the Demon Slayer Corps. The Demon King...Muzan Kibutsuji.

[INCLUDES SPOILERS!] ❝Spring will be here soon. Spring, the season I met you, is coming. A Spring without you.. Is coming.❞ The tragedy struck a while ago. The tragedy that was the death of Kaori Miyazono's death. She was tempestuous, and capricious, I couldn't read her, but this girl, she's beautiful, and she was my first love. It haunts me. I remember playing that piece, Chopin's Ballade No. 1 In G Minor, Op. 23, his loneliest piece. I remember hitting the flats and the sharps, I remember all the slurs, I remember when she fulfilled her promise and appeared with her violin, joining. But I also remember when she stopped playing. When she looked at me, knowing she had to go. I remember when she played her last notes, then took her last breath. I remember. I remember the letter. I remember. She loves me. She told a lie, the lie, to get closer to me. I wasted the little time I had with her. But I still enjoyed it. But it was too short. It's been a year. But I haven't moved on.
