11 year old orphan, Molly, has lived a tough life. When she was 8 years old, both of her parents died from a car crash. She had no other family to care for her, so she was sent to the Brookside Orphanage for Girls. She is looked up to by the younger girls because she is on the older side. They told the office that they wanted a tween girl, so they decided on Molly. When she moves in with them, her entire life changes.

Keemstar is a famous internet personality known for his reports on internet drama, and is also known for the crude, unapologetic way he deals with the general public. His parents own a farm where Cherry, our main character, lives. Cherry, otherwise known as "cherry-chan" and also known as Bosephone Budzinski, works as a waitress at a family restaurant she hates. Cherry is witty, lewd, sassy, and in love with Keemstar, although he has no idea of it. Keemstar is an avid reddit user. Cherry is slowly slipping deeper and deeper into a state of numbness and apathy. She now feels ambivalence towards most things, even heinous crimes, or her worst intrusive thoughts. Cherry smokes marijuana often, and wouldn't hesitate to try harder drugs if offered the chance. Cherry enjoys the numb feeling she gets. The only time Cherry doesn't feel numb is when she thinks about Keemstar. Her eventual plan is to house Keemstar in her basement, which she is planning on tidying up into a sanrio themed locked room for her beloved Keemstar to flourish inside. She knows this will bring her true happiness, she just needs to figure out how to do it...
