"Um, no one signed your cast," he said, pointing out the obvious. "No. I-I know," Evan said, chuckling sheepishly. Connor looked into the boy's eyes. "I'll sign it," he said. Evan's eyes filled with surprise. "Oh, you don't... you really don't have to," He started, only to be cut off by Connor. "Do you have a Sharpie?" After Connor Murphy yelled at Evan Hansen in the hallway for something that was a misconception, he decided he would want to try to get closer to the boy, maybe even be friends with him. As they meet later in the day in the computer lab, Connor decides to sign Evan's cast, but little did he know that something was going to happen. Was it a friendship starting to bloom, or was it something that would change both of their lives? !!WARNING. This book will contain themes of self-harm, suicide, suicidal thoughts, and possibly other triggering subjects. Please don't read this if you think you'll get triggered!! This was inspired by the Musical, Dear Evan Hansen. Ben is the boy who was always considered to be perfect, until he came out of the closet, and his boyfriend died, but they don't if it was murder or suicide. Mitchell was the boy who was either killed or he committed suicide because he was gay and dating the "perfect" boy.

Made in 2017 After a few months pass the boys get closer. They each have there problems and they will usually share them with the others but Connor was different, he never told them his problems. He only helped. What will happen when all the stress becomes too much?

Not all who wander are lost, not all that glitters is gold, and not all heroes wear capes. I wrote this as a reminder to those who struggle with something, whether it be a struggle with physical or mental health, being bullied, those dealing with abuse, or even just to those who have to deal with some peers at school who won't cease to bother them. This is a story I wrote as something to look back on, to share, and to remind that not all is lost.

"Light up my Shadows" takes place in a world where mental disorders haunt you; literally. Mental disorders, fears and strong emotions have almost-human forms. Positive emotions are called 'Lights' and all the negative stuff are called 'Shadows'. They follow their host around, and only their host can see them and talk to them. Most people have 1-2 shadows, but Connor Murphy isn't most people; he has six Shadows, which is both rare and dangerous. Worst part is that he doesn't have a Light to help him. That is until he's assigned a certain boy as a partner for a school project A boy in a blue polo shirt and kaki pants. A boy who broke his arm by falling out of a tree. A boy who has just has many Shadows following him as Connor does- if not more. So this is an AU we came up with and no one dies. The AU will be explained throughout the story. It's a tree bros fic (so all the gay). It will also be angsty but it will have a happy ending. There will also be a lot of cussing so yeah.

heidi thought it would be a good idea for evan to download an app where you talk to total strangers. evan sets up an account. he happens to find connor, but doesn't know it. they end up becoming really close friends, but at school, they, like, hate each other. i wonder if they're ever going to meet in real life. ◇art on cover by hachibeans◇

Connor wasn't dead. He flatlined, was brought back and was put into a medically induced coma that the doctors said he wouldn't wake up from. The Murphys lost hope, and basically carried on as if he were already dead. The Connor project happened, and of course, crashed and burned. And then he woke up. [the Connor Project drama took place in junior year, so connor woke up in Senior year,bc i have no idea how to write adults ]
