This was inspired by the Musical, Dear Evan Hansen. Ben is the boy who was always considered to be perfect, until he came out of the closet, and his boyfriend died, but they don't if it was murder or suicide. Mitchell was the boy who was either killed or he committed suicide because he was gay and dating the "perfect" boy.

"Light up my Shadows" takes place in a world where mental disorders haunt you; literally. Mental disorders, fears and strong emotions have almost-human forms. Positive emotions are called 'Lights' and all the negative stuff are called 'Shadows'. They follow their host around, and only their host can see them and talk to them. Most people have 1-2 shadows, but Connor Murphy isn't most people; he has six Shadows, which is both rare and dangerous. Worst part is that he doesn't have a Light to help him. That is until he's assigned a certain boy as a partner for a school project A boy in a blue polo shirt and kaki pants. A boy who broke his arm by falling out of a tree. A boy who has just has many Shadows following him as Connor does- if not more. So this is an AU we came up with and no one dies. The AU will be explained throughout the story. It's a tree bros fic (so all the gay). It will also be angsty but it will have a happy ending. There will also be a lot of cussing so yeah.

It's Evan's first day at school and he is freaking out. He had been on the same school for years but he still feeling like he wasn't part of anything. Evan thought things couldn't get any harder, but he was completely wrong. Everything got harder for him when he fell in love with a boy from his literature class. This boy was Connor Murphy, the boy everyone hates.

Evan Hansen was fine with his life. His sucky, horrible, anxious, life, but his life all the same. but then it gets... unpredictable. Will he still love his life, or even want to keep living it at all? Also my writing starts out a little rough at first but it gets better I promise💗💗 More chapters to be found on Archive of Our Own that I will post here soon.

Not all who wander are lost, not all that glitters is gold, and not all heroes wear capes. I wrote this as a reminder to those who struggle with something, whether it be a struggle with physical or mental health, being bullied, those dealing with abuse, or even just to those who have to deal with some peers at school who won't cease to bother them. This is a story I wrote as something to look back on, to share, and to remind that not all is lost.

Evan Hansen is one month into recovery after surviving a near-fatal suicide attempt. With the help of his friends and his mother, he is healing. He is learning, however, that healing is not linear. There are high points and low points, and nothing about it is easy. This sequel to "Another World" focuses primarily on Evan's recovery, and the lasting depression and regret that comes after an attempted suicide. Many points that are made will be connected to the first book, and I suggest that you read it first! It is also recommended that you have read, watched, or listened to "Dear Evan Hansen."

Connor wasn't dead. He flatlined, was brought back and was put into a medically induced coma that the doctors said he wouldn't wake up from. The Murphys lost hope, and basically carried on as if he were already dead. The Connor project happened, and of course, crashed and burned. And then he woke up. [the Connor Project drama took place in junior year, so connor woke up in Senior year,bc i have no idea how to write adults ]

I changed this, it used to be "A Dear Evan Hansen Discussion", but because I'm starting to get more invested in Hamilton and TLT musical, I decided I'll change this so I don't have to create multiple stories for a bunch of things I can put in one. These will just be my thoughts, opinions, ect, on musicals I have seen/ listened to soundtrack to.
