Nico is changing schools. Again. Nothing new there. However, his newly-introduced half-sister, Hazel Levesque, attends this school and she wants nothing more than for Nico to truly become apart of it. Not just that. She also keeps inviting him to her "Club de Magie" and he's just not sure it's meant for him. He doesn't believe in magic, per say, but he believes in something quite similar. Then there's her friends. They're all crazy! And they are EVERYWHERE Nico turns. What should he do? Should he shut them out? Or should he give them the chance for once? Nico just can't seem to get past how intriguing they all are and it's tearing him to pieces.

~Explosions in the Sky~ In some other universe, Octavian believed he had died because he had been launched from an onager. Unfortunately, where he is now, things don't go over as smoothly as everyone might have wished it would. Battered, bruised and injured near death, Octavian wonders why he hasn't been sent to Tartarus. He wonders why he has found himself in such an uncomfortable situation and why some people are willing to put up with him in the long-run. Above all, he wonders why he can't bring himself to just let everything go; why he has allowed himself to get so attached after so much time. ***** Based on a wonderful story I read years ago on Archive of our Own called "Irons in the Fire" by rockholmes and "Your Hand is Mine" by Explosions in the Sky.
