Abhir, who survived a landslide, became a doctor and engaged to Saniya Sinha. He hates his grandparents (Ruhi's maternal grandparents) for disowning his mother, Akshara. Unbeknownst to him, his sister Abhira Sharma, a law student, exists. Abhira is the daughter of Akshara and Abhinav Sharma and is married to Armaan Poddar, though they don't know about each other yet. Shivansh Birla, Ruhi's cousin, is a businessman married to Anika, who is pregnant. The cousins were close but lost contact after their family separation.
