Dakota's POV "And why should I say yes?" Seth growled, his rage evident in his eyes. "Because," I giggled, "you have the hots for me." I smiled as I caught an expression on his face which mimicked that of a deer who has been caught between the headlights, for a fraction of a second, before it returned to his normal stoic expression. "I do not have the hots for you." He huffed, rolling his eyes before turning to leave. My smile didn't falter as I said, "then I guess it would be fine if I went out on a date wi-" But I never got to finish my sentence because his lips suddenly pressed against mine in a heated, desperate kiss full of passion.
