In the old legends, Draupadi and Arjun had a daughter named Pragathi but no proof of her existence is available. This story is based on her. Pragathi disappeared when she was barely one year old from the palace of Indraprastha and no one had found her since. And now about 20 years later, just when the Pandavas had returned from exile, Pragathi, now 21 years old, appears in Aryavrat. Maira Khan was an orphan who grew up in one of the biggest Orphanages in New York. The matron was a kindly muslim lady who had adopted her, unofficially, when she was 3 and now she was a special agent at the FBI, quite an achievement for someone so young. Her life was going as it always was when one day a call came. A hostage situation at a bank, a rescue gone wrong and now she found herself thousand of years in the past, with people and things she thought only existed in myths. ------------------------ DISCLAIMER: I would like to say that I mean no harm or disrespect to Hindu religion and literature by this story. This story is a pure fiction created as a result of the plot bunnies running around my head, one too many episodes of Mahabharat and my crush on Saurabh Raj Jain as Lord Krishna. Attracted by the flower, she walked over and reached up, straining to reach the unique flower. Though she stood on her toes, she was still unable to reach the flower and pouted in disappointment. Two arms snaked around her waist and the princess of Panchal found herself lifted off the ground. She gasped, turning backwards to see Nakul with his arms around her waist, and her four other husbands grinning up at them from a distance.

You make your way to the building, uncertainty lingering in your brain, but the curiosity tugging at your heart wins you over. As you reach the door, you notice that it is unlocked, but you have to struggle a bit to open the old, heavy thing. At last, you manage to open it, and you see shelves and shelves, decorated with neatly arranged books from a bygone era. They have collected dust from sitting there for God knows how long. At that moment, you know. You may not know how or why you got here, but now, this feels like home. Your hands reach for a book that seems right to you, and now, you are no more than a silent spectator, as the characters you read about come alive in a reality that your mind has created. These characters might have been dead for millennia, may not have even existed, but you- the readers- have the ability to make them live for eternity and beyond. lol idk what this is but PLS READ THANK YOU ILY
