Jiang Yuelou liked autumn, generally the colder seasons, more than summer. A slight, mischievous grin crept onto his face. He knew exactly why he liked cold weather better than the heat of summer.

"I'm home," he says quietly. Home is a stark difference from outside, warmer and there are no harsh winds to cut into his skin, no ice to pierce into his venules. "Rough day?" Chen yuzhi says as he gets up from the couch, setting his book to the side. Jiang yuelou shrugs, more snow falling upon their floors. He wonders if his frustrations were really that apparent or whether it was just that he's always an open book to Chen yuzhi. He looks up at the young doctor as the other walks closer, arms opening for an embrace that Jiang yuelou willingly walks into. English is not my native language. *slightly mature content* Chen Yuzhi should have known better. This time he would not get away so easily. He hadn't heard from Jiang Yuelou or seen him in nearly four weeks. Jiang Yuelou successfully had avoided any contact. This story takes place about 14 months after the ending of the TV show. In case of Chen Yuzhi it is not cannon compliant; I guess most of you know what I mean. Keying is 14. I decided on that age because although the actress who played her was only about 9 years old, Chen Yuzhi mentioned in the TV show that she is 13 so I most time will go along with that age.

Jiang Yuelou had always liked Chen Yuzhi wearing warm soft sweaters. He had also never objected to turtlenecks in general. These garments fit so well with what Jiang Yuelou saw in Chen Yuzhi. Snug, warm, soft, caring. That was Chen Yuzhi to him even before they had finally admitted that calling each other "friends" or mere "brothers" had become ridiculous.

Perhaps JiangYuelou is in love with Chen Yuzhi and perhaps Chen Yuzhi is in love with Jiang Yuelou. A small Valentine story. Killer and Healer has got me hooked just as much as The Untamed.
