During the sargasso duel after splitting from dark zexal Yuma faints and the duel is considered a draw as one party is now unable to duel. Vector kidnaps Yuma and brings him to don thousand who uses his powers to make Yuma forget everything and turning him into something between being human and barrian. With no memories yuma who is now called Polaris must figure out where he stands in this war, and who he is. However the whispers of a certain barrian god, and a mad prince can be quite tempting. Not to mention the dark number who has chosen to tag along seems all up for a little fun. While yumas friends have to figure out a way to continue this war without their guiding light.
