Also, her getting more of a background, interacting with the Numbers, and realizing she has more in common with her brother than she's ever thought. Notes: So I've been obsessed with Teenage Mercenary for a while now, but have always held off on writing fics because I had so much on my plate. But then I read a comment that had me spiraling: "Dayeon knows but she's turning a blind eye and not prying because she loves and trusts her brother." And I loved that, because Dayeon is smart. She's held her own against years of abuse. She's been kidnapped twice. Her whole family was killed when she was seven, and she basically had to raise herself. She is able to do all this while still extending care towards others with a smile. Just because Dayeon is sweet and kind does not mean she's oblivious. Just because she can't throw punches doesn't mean she's not strong. But if her brother is coming home with suspicious wounds? You bet she'd worry about him and try to figure out what's going on. She wouldn't ask, because she promised not to, but with how bad of a liar Ijin is she is definitely able to pick up some clues he's left.
