Yui Saito was always alone until she found Yuto Kimura and became friends with him. One stormy night, Yuto was found knocked out outside and was taken into Yui's home. While staying there, he regained consciousness. There was then a sudden earthquake that shook the entire house. In book one, we learn that this will become the new normal.
