Después de la impactante escena en el aula del consejo estudiantil, Kaguya Shinomiya se encuentra devastada por el error que cometió al dar un consejo equivocado a Tsubame Koyasu, lo que llevó al rechazo de Ishigami. Su propio corazón roto y la culpa la han llevado a un estado emocional caótico, pero está decidida a enmendar su error. Ishigami, aunque aún dolido, acepta la invitación de Kaguya para cenar y discutir lo que ocurrió.
