A Food Wars Fanfic Kairi Barousse, otherwise known as "Kai", is a half-French half-American Chef aspiring to be the best chef in the world! Or at least, that's what she thinks in her head anyway. The truth is, Kai is extremely lazy. She has no motivation to do anything. She wears roller skates almost 100% of the time because, she said and I quote, "Walking is a pain." She's only passionate about eating, sleeping and cooking. But despite all that, Kai's cooking prowess is on par with that of a professional. The experience she gained from working at "Millésime", her father's restaurant, and from travelling around the world with her mother has turned her into a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen. Kai was perfectly content with her lazy, easy going life. That was until her parents dropped her off in front of "Totsuki Culinary Academy" and told her she couldn't come home until she graduates. Too lazy to deal with her eccentric parents, Kai begins her adventure at Totsuki. There, she will make friends and foes alike, learn and experience many new things, and potentially reach the top of this unforgiving food chain.
