Sometimes, running away seems like the only option. Six months have passed since Duel Academy's graduation, and Yuki Judai finally returns to Domino to face all that he had left behind. Will he be able to handle his past? Or will he say his final goodbyes and leave Domino behind forever? You'll have to follow the sun to find out.

Duel Academy gets a new transfer student from Alabama in the United States of America, his name was Jesse Anderson. He had a hard time back in America, being passed around, foster home to foster home only to get verbally and physically abused his whole life. He wasn't a bad kid at all but his parents were alcoholics and drug addicts, which led to Jesse being taken out of their care. He had no friends growing up because he was an outcast and somewhat a shut in. He thought he could have a better life when he arrived to Duel Academy but everyone ended up making fun of him because of his accent and being stereotypical because he was from Alabama. But one person stood out from the rest. A cute brown haired boy from the Slifer red dorm. He didn't treat him like the others did. He was nice to Jesse and would stand up for him if someone was harassing him. Jaden Yuki. He was the only person he felt he could trust and share his thoughts with. After all these years he finally found someone that didn't treat him like shit and criticize him and maybe Jesse was in love with him.

Life and Death can only exist together, yet they constantly try to erase one another. Until they finally realize just how much they need their counterpart. Life can only exist if there is death, and Death can only exist if there is life. A Fianceshipping/JuuAsu AU which has been in my head for quite some time, but I just don't seem to get it on paper (so to speak). I don't really have a name for the AU yet, "God of Life & Goddess of Death AU" is to long so for now I will simply call it "Gods AU". If someone has a better idea be free to say so ^^ For anyone who is inspired by this is also free to write their own version of it and all I ask is to inform me so I can read the story XD I will give more information and somewhat of a prologue to this AU in the "prologue" chapter.
