The story follows Aria, an art restorer, and Julian, an architect, two years after a painful breakup. The two cross paths at an art gallery opening, where Julian reveals he still has a cedar box left to Aria by her late father. This box, which they had originally pledged to open on their wedding day, becomes the catalyst for their reunion.
As they navigate the logistics of opening the box-which includes a search for a missing key and a trip to a secluded island cabin-they are forced to confront the "unspoken ink" of their past. They discover that their relationship failed not because of a lack of love, but because they spoke "different languages" and built a wall of misinterpreted silences. Through a series of raw confessions and the discovery of unsent letters, they begin to dismantle that wall.
