This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.

This is an alternate change/AU in the Tears of the Kingdom story. Instead of Princess Zelda returning back to her mortal self at the end after defeating Ganondorf, it'll happen in the middle of Link's journey to save his princess along with Hyrule. This story will take place after Link gains each of the Sages, and nearly finish examining the Geoglyphs that Impa and Purah wanted him to check out. With gaining help from the Princess before facing Ganondorf, the Sages plus Link will end Ganondorf's evil ruling. There will be my own twists like Zelda still being able to use the Time abilities she had like in AoI (Age of Imprisonment) and Tears. This is the story of Links adventures in Botw.

Because of the rewrites of CoaFA becoming so massive, I have decided to migrate CoaFA into this, so that I can avoid writing chapters that are far too long or having to deal with the nightmare of trying to integrate new chapters between the old ones. Not everything will be posted in here all at once, but it will replace CoaFA once I am satisfied with the rewrites.

The upheaval strikes; Hyrule Castle is lifted into the air. Islands, ruins, and strange artifacts fall from the sky, and whispers drift on plumes of smoky gloom of a Demon King's return. Hyrule's Princess is missing, her hero gravely wounded and the sword that seals the darkness in shatters. Monsters grow in strength and number, and Hyrule must look to help both in the present and in the distant past. Follow Link as he navigates Hyrule, unlocks the secrets of the sages and the Zonai, and attempts to find his Princess and save the world one more time. FULL SPOILERS for Tears of the Kingdom

This story follows the events after Age of Calamity* Follow the champions and their interactions with Hyrule and its people! Lurelin is a quaint little village tucked away from the horrors of the world by large looming mountains, and while life may be boring, at least it's peaceful. But what will Y/n, someone who's never left their sweet little village, do when tasked by a dead king to save the world? Of course they heard the stories of how the hero Link and other champions of old all perished in battle, but the thought of needing a new hero never really crossed their mind. But the king sure does seem desperate... Reader uses they/them pronouns I update every other Friday!

Link manages to return Zelda back to normal and saves her from her fall. But a piece of Ganondorf's power managed to stab Link on his way down. This could be the end of Link... A new Self insert has arrived! Meet Kaida. Kaida enters the world of BOTW+AOC, but she loses her memory as soon as she hits the ground. Now, she's an emotionless being just wandering around. Let's see how the others react to this 'Emotionless Doll'.

Basically a mashup of AOC and BOTW- the Champions are alive alongside their descendants and everyone's at peace. The Calamity has been defeated, and most monsters are yet to be seen around Hyrule.

Link travels through Hyrule, fighting monsters. Zelda holds Calamiy Ganon at bay. Her power is waning. She needs Link to come and defeat Calamity Ganon... You know, when he's not busy shield surfing along the beach.
