Completed! This is a Yuri!!! On Ice fanfiction following the four main characters (Victor, Yuuri, Yuri(o), and Otabek if you weren't sure) through life after season one. Fair warning, when I started this I had no plot-- one developed but it took a bit. The beginning is mainly fluff but once the story (for all intents and purposes) starts, it'll improve drastically. Anyway, now for the part you came here for: the plot (which was partially Roseoak's idea). So in this au, pretty much everything's the same but they're all idols and at the end of the season, instead of skating together, Viktor and Yuuri sing this song called Duetto together. So, in order to stay faithful to this general idea, this will focus on a survival show. What's a survival show you ask? Think of it like American Idol meets America's Next Top Model and the winners get put in a group together/debut as idols for a certain company. No one dies, don't worry. So with all that out of the way, here we go: After Yuuri sort of flops as a new solo artist, he's offered a chance at a new career through a survival show. He's hesitant at first, but he's convinced to take a chance. One night at the after party of an award show, after lots of drunk shenanigans, Yuuri asks Viktor to be his coach.
