It's 9 years after Yuri on Ice! ended. When Yakov sends his great niece to live with Victor and Yuuri for a short while, he asks Victor to do one thing with her. "Heal her." Katya is an eleven year old who can't bring herself to speak because of her twisted past that has yet to be revealed to anyone.
