When Yuri is dragged into a bakery by his best friend after their yoga class, he doesn't expect to like the desserts it makes, and he really doesn't expect to humiliate himself in front of the bakery's hot, if inexpressive, proprietor. But as he returns to the bakery, he finds that the proprietor isn't actually made of stone, and, incredibly, seems to like Yuri. But Yuri has a surprise up his sleeve, and, eventually, Otabek will, too. That's what life's all about, though, right? Surprise? When Yuri is dragged into a bakery by his best friend after their yoga class, he doesn't expect to meet the man he'll grow to love, nor does he expect to find his future in the confines of the tiny, homey shop. Being in college is harder than you thought unlike in highschool. There's no time for doing nonsense because in these four years it will determine your future. That's why Rafael wonders why Plisetsky even in college if all he did in class was to sleep or use his phone during class (well he's not the only one doing that but anyways.) or sometimes space out in class. Haru Suzuki was a Japanese-American ice skater and a close rival to Viktor Nikiforov in their early years. During the finals of the Grand Prix, Haru attempts a quadruple lutz, something he had yet to land properly. It was a risky thing to do which resulted in a severe knee injury that ended his career when it was just beginning, but Haru's bad luck doesn't end there. Three months after his accident his coach and biggest support, his mother, is killed in a car accident. Now after four years of being out the game, Haru is stepping on the ice once again. Against all odds, the concern of his therapist and the wishes of his father, Haru wants one last chance to be the best in the memory of his mother. Yuuri is a high school student. He has decent grades and has a future ahead of him. But then there's yuri. Yuri Plisetsky. Yuri is the type who yells and talks back to the staff at the high school and tries to fight kids if they piss him off but ends up losing some times. One class. Their English teacher. Mr nikiforov. Asks yuuri to help out yuri with his assignments for next class. Yuuri has no choice but to agree.
