Orphan (Y/n) (L/n) is adopted by her best friend, Haruhi's dad, Ranka as he likes to go by. She soon gets a scholarship to Ouran Academy. Haruhi and (Y/n) end up going to Ouran Academy together. (Y/n) isn't the only orphan living with Haruhi and Ranka, though. Destiny Allen lives with them, too. She doesn't go to Ouran instead she goes to Shujin. The two get along with each other and Haruhi well. The two go to different schools, live in the same house. One is trapped in a Host Club, while the fights for justice.
