Yutyrannus Stories

In a world overrun by dinosaurs, many are struggling to survive. A young Yutyrannus named Frostbite encounters a villainous megaraptor named Cobra, who kills his father and takes his sister with him. When Frostbite is taken in, he will get new family and friends, explore unseen places and see enemies old and new.

In this short retelling of the Lion and the Mouse, a Yutyrannus learns the morals of doing something good.

Today we start a new series called: Paleoprofile, where I examine the lesser-known but still very interesting prehistoric creatures! Today we have Yutyrannus, the largest feathered dinosaur (yet), and relative of T. rex!

Yutyrannus (meaning "feathered tyrant") is a genus of proceratosaurid tyrannosauroid dinosaur which contains a single known species, Yutyrannus huali. This species lived during the early Cretaceous period in what is now northeastern China.[1] Three fossils of Yutyrannus huali -all found in the rock beds of Liaoning Province- are currently the largest-known carnivorous dinosaur specimens that preserve direct evidence of feathers.[2]

After a botched rescue mission, a crew finds itself in seemingly uncharted lands. Their confusion and wonder quickly turns into a walk on a tightrope of survival. They will meet creatures of unknown origin, who are meant to be bygone and buried under the Earth, but now ruthlessly chase and hunt their new human prey to fulfill their hunger.
