Citrus Minus here, I wanted to write a story that focuses on Harumi Taniguchi and what might things be like from her perspective. To me, Harumi has always been portrayed as a self-confident person who really values her friendship with Yuzu. Putting the emphasis on Harumi and telling a story from her perspective, I imagined she might actually be a lot more contemplative and introspective underneath. This story takes place parallel to the Citrus+ timeline, from late September through the end of October. At the time of writing, 'August 14th' is the most recent Citrus+ chapter. In "Harumi Taniguchi and her most important friend", the Aihara Academy student council are working on plans to do something fun for the students, finally. Somehow Yuzu has convinced Mei to have the school host a Halloween festival and, in doing so, begins working alongside the student council. Meanwhile, Harumi finds herself at a loss without her best friend around so much. What does the newly busy Yuzu who can't make time for Harumi, mean for the two's friendship? Soulmate AU: One eye becomes the colour of your soulmates

Mei Aihara, Japan's top model for the local magazines around her home town. She had beauty, grace and pure social stats but when a local photographer, Yuzu Okogi comes along; she starts to question her whole career. Being paired with such a clumsy bubbly cute photographer is most embarrassing for her but in reality; Mei begins to like her presence.

"Yuzu!?" "Mei, I'm fine; it's just a scratch; no need to worry!" cheesing her famous grin. "where did that scratch come from?" Mei asked, pointing to inflamed cuts on Yuzu's upper thigh. Yuzu sighed as she laid on her side, allowing Mei to get a better look at it. "eh some big dog came out of no where and tried to bite me but I was too quick for it so it scratched me" she explained. Was it just a scratch from dog or..something else?

After Chapt. 36, Yuzu studies and does her best during the last 2 years of high-school in hopes of getting Mei's attention, she gets to top in all classes and becomes a valedictorian. She goes to a University in Korea and lives her best life. She becomes the student council president in the second year, and she eventually moves on from Mei (kind of) and meets an interesting first year that is new to her school. Will she and Mei every get back together? or will they stay apart for the rest of their lives? Credits to Saburuota, the author of citrus also, this is my au.
