"I was beginning to worry about you." "You know you never need to worry. I think I was just so preoccupied with trying to settle back into reality that I became overly distracted. Truth be told, Kurama...I don't know what reality is anymore." "Given what we just went through...our sense of what's real may feel off for a while." Four years have passed since Yusuke Urameshi returned to Human World from Demon Realm. Upon the crowning of King Enki, a proclamation was made that any demon caught causing havoc in the Human Realm would be severely punished. And so, the King's orders were followed. A border patrol between the three realms had been established, and the old Makai barrier had been taken down. Even though King Enki was popular among his people and his plan had the backing of King Yama, there were still many defected demons who would choose to violate the law and slip past border patrol into Human World. Consequently, a second Makai barrier had to be established. Even still, this was not enough to keep the threat of a demon invasion at bay for the residents of Human World. Enter Romano Hideshi, a young man who had always aspired to be a police officer, who later died temporarily and became the world's fourth Spirit Detective. Hideshi's power is great, but can it withstand all that lurks in the deepest catacombs of Demon World? Witness the brand-new fan continuation of Yu Yu Hakusho, and the rise of an epic new story.

(I don't own yu yu hakusho I only own Yukiko, Azumi, and Sachiko. Yu yu hakusho was written by Yoshihiro Togashi, published by Shueisha, and the English publisher is Viz Media. A lot of the dialogue is theirs) The story tells of Yukiko Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who is struck and killed by a hit and run while attempting to save her friends life. After a number of tests presented to her and her twin, Yusuke, by Koenma, the son of the ruler of the afterlife Underworld, Yukiko and Yusuke is revived and appointed the title of "Underworld Detective", with which they must investigate various cases involving demons and apparitions in the living world.

It started with an unexpected murder. A string of them to be exact, but there was one in particular that lead Hiei to first become hungry for vengeance, and then to be captured and locked away with a mysterious demon claiming to be some sort of retrieval specialist. After learning the murder victim was also someone important to this new demon, they join forces and escape to hunt down the murderer. This foe isn't going to make it easy on them, and things are bound to get a bit complicated. New friendships will blossom, tensions will rise, and sparks will fly as these two's lives become more and more intertwined. Can they work together to bring their common enemy down, or will this foe prove to be too much for them? AN: For those of you who have read the old version of this story, this is the newly edited, revised version I was talking about before. The story plot is the same, but I went through and changed some things in hopes to better the story. I hope you like this version just as much as the old one, if not more. It has been a long time since the events of The Demon World Tournament. The fox-demon Kurama, or as he is rather known, Shuichi Minamino has gone home to his human mother. He now plans to lead a normal life in his human reincarnation, free from distractions and involvement o any sort with demon kind. Now in his final year of High School, with countless girls admiring him for his gracious looks and admirable academic accomplishments, it would seem Shuichi has many possible women to spend his new life with. However, its not the pretty girls, nor the popular ones who catch this former demon's attention, but rather Kisa Agume, a shy girl who may have stolen the former demon's heart. However, Kisa holds a dark secret which may jeopardize any chance of a relationship her and Kurama may have... So now a new adventure begins, one which may lead to peril, romance, and of course, plenty of rose whips...
