Being first years in highschool at Jeffrey County High School, dealing with the effects of Murphy's Law, and juggling relationships between to years of friendships all within a year. Milo, Zack, and Melissa begin there adventures in a more rigorous place. Find out how the year goes for the new freshman and hopefully they don't break down.

I figured I should make this series because of the lack of Zalissa fanfics. Plus, it's the only ship keeping me sane rn. IT'S JUST SO CUTE TO SEE A MIDDLE SCHOOL RELATIONSHIP UNFOLD BEFORE MY EYES. However, I do think the transition from Zack and Melissa becoming closer (friendship and romance-wise) was choppy. So these are just a bunch of one-shots.

Having just arrived in Danville, you weren't sure what to expect from the city that has gained traction for it's odd events and even odder residents. Something you definitely found unexpected was an offer to join a group that called themselves the Lumbermax. Milo Murphy was born with a curse, ever since he was a baby everything that can go wrong around him, will go wrong. However, he never saw this as a curse at all, in fact he adored it and just rode the wave of chaos that followed him everywhere. Bradley Nicholson isn't lonely. At least, he claims not to be, but once he spends a few hours in detention with Milo Murphy, he starts to notice unwanted feelings bubbling to the surface. Milo even offers to tutor Bradley in a subject he's having trouble with, and as much as Bradley wishes to decline, he doesn't. Murphy's Law never made anything easy, and yet somehow, it managed to bring Milo and Bradley closer than they had ever been before.

After a science lab blows up in their face, Zack ends up hospitalized for a few weeks. Milo can't help but blame himself. He needs to convince himself to just accept that he's dangerous to be around - No matter what anyone else might say.
