It's been three years since Zim arrived on Earth, and Dib has been there every step of the way to ensure the alien won't take it over. He collects evidence on the alien, but when the Swollen Eyeballs ask for his findings, all he can produce are blurry photos. Frustrated with his hard work gone to waste and desperate to prove himself to the Swollen Eyeballs, Dib discovers that there's an old house just outside town that's supposedly rich with ghosts and surrounded by mysteries of child disappearances. He reluctantly decides to check out the claims and quickly discovers that there is more history behind the house than he first believed. And when he finds a little button key and a magic corridor that leads him to a life he's always wanted, Dib can't help but get sucked into the adventure.

Now without a disguise, Zim must team up with his greatest enemy (and at the same time his only friend) to find who else in this world of idiots would know Zim's true identity. Side note, this book does contain ZaDR (Zim and Dib Relationship) so if you don't like ZaDR, I'm telling you now that you can leave. As well, this book is a work of fiction-within-fiction, meaning that it is NOT canon to the show. It takes place after the events of Mopiness of Doom (an unaired episode, which you can watch on youtube in the form of either an animation project or an official script reading, neither of which are mine.) and doesn't fully follow the canonicity of future (unaired) episodes. If you haven't seen Mopiness of Doom, some elements of the story may not make sense.

(NOT ZaDr) Zim and Dib have been at eachothers necks for awhile after the florpus incident. After that, Dib has been constantly monitoring Zim for days on end, staying up al night long and getting little to no sleep. Little does Dib know that Zim no longer has a purpose since he's probably and most likely killed his leaders and doesn't really have anywhere else to go since quite literally everyone hates him including his race. if he were to return to the galaxy no one would want to accept him so his only option was to stay on earth...a few years later and Zim has accepted that he is and was never welcomed, adored, or idolized by his kind nor the tallest and during those years....slowly, over the years, they both hegan to think that they're like one in the same. Both were hated and outcasted by their own kind. It was like looking into a mirror. And then it clicked. Why were they still fighting? Why take over the earth when you have no one to appease by doing so? Why chase a dream that'll never happen because no one supports or believes in you? It was all just so...bizzare and stupid. At that point they decided to come to a mutual peace agreement to not try and kill eachother constantly, and to be what humans call friends, nothing could possibly go wrong...right?. TLDR: Zim and Dib realize how similar they are how they're almost one in the same, (with a few major differences) but it and become friends, what could go wrong? (Btw, I made the cover art, and this is my first time making a fanfic don't kill me-)
