After the events of Enter the Florpus, both Dib and Zim expect to settle back into their cat and mouse routine. But when Zim gets news from Irk that things have changed, he's left with no real reason to fight except for sheer willpower. And Dib, not wanting to inspire a Peace Day repeat, is trying to figure out how to adjust. And when things take a turn for the worst, will they work together or will spite destory everything they have left?

Después de que "Ruina Inevitable Parte Uno" fuera arruinada por Zim, el imperio Irken comenzó con la creación de un arma letal para la segunda parte de su plan de conquista. Allí el pequeño Dib tuvo que adaptarse a un entorno totalmente desconocido y sin poder comunicarse con ningún Irken. Hi, guys! Goldie from. Um. 2026 here. This has officially been discontinued, as it started as a vent fic when I was seventeen or eighteen (I can't fully recall). BUT I will be rewriting it! Actually, I've BEEN rewriting it, it's just taking a while :'D I would rather have the whole story written before I post it, but due to how much people enjoy this, I'll see if I can't upload the first chapter as soon as it's done so y'all can still enjoy it. Dib is having nightmares about Zim. Zim is dying, Zim is killing him, Zim leaves him. Dib can't handle it. After a few weeks he snaps and stops sleeping altogether. Zim starts to notice his enemy's lack of energy and becomes suspicious. He starts keeping tabs on Dib, trying to get the secret out. Eventually he confronts the teen and finds out more than he bargained for. Aged up three years. TW: Self harm/Bullying Edit: I have not abandoned this fic! I just can't get back into the right headspace to continue right now. I started this as a vent fic after... Family issues... An Invader Zim/ZaDR/ZaDF angst fanfiction I had an idea for at 11:00PM. Will have infrequent updates :') Content warning for terminal illness, grief, giving up, major character death, and other possibly mature/triggering themes. Please proceed with caution and tissues.
