This story is inspired by the amazing animated show Miraculous Ladybug! Its a tale about two 14 year olds, Ariana Peterson and Evan Forbes who come from completely different backgrounds and just want to fit in high school. That is until one day, their lives get turned upside down between trying out for a school sport to protecting New York City from a major danger heading towards them. Marinette Dupain-Cheng is an average peasant girl growing up in a small village named Parisilia. It is strictly under the rule of King Gabriel. Since her father was murdered by the King's men years ago, she has learned to fend for herself with the help of her friend Alya. Living in the village isn't easy, especially when the taxes are raised and getting by is made increasingly difficult. So Marinette has to do something about it. But how could she as an average peasant girl? Her plan is to overthrow the kingdom. Feeing hopeless, Marinette nearly tosses aside this idea. On a cold and dreary night, when a fairy godmother grants her biggest wish, she has the ability to transform into Ladybug, a spotted hero who will demand change for the village. But she'll find that it's easier said than done when she unexpectedly meets Prince Adrien. Will Marinette ever have a happy ending without jeopardizing the lives of the ones she loves?

In Collège Françoise Dupont, Adrien Agreste is known to be the highschool's bad boy. He has a pretty face, but so handsome that every living soul with a preference has to take a double take when passing him, almost everywhere. Obviously, with this kind of power, he used this to his advantage and pretends to care for those who are so head-over-heals for him. After a new student arrives, Adrien finds something out. Not everyone is attracted to a pretty face. Maybe the reason why he fools everyone is maybe he wanted to get them back. Or he was just... scared. And never wanted to love anyone, ever again.

Sunlight broke through the curtains in the large bedroom. Birds chirped at daybreak. Soft yellow sunlight weathered floors spread beneath. The walls were light pink with gold specks around them. The king-sized bed swallowed Marinette. She laid in the middle, limbs strewn across the bed haphazardly twisted in the blankets on her back. Her raven hair fell around her in waves. . "Duchess, it's time to wake." Her two maids stood beside the bed waiting. They had woken up at six in the morning, preparing for the duchesses daily morning routine which was in two hours. . Anna was the youngest, only a year younger than the lady she attended at seventeen. She was a small girl with tan skin and white hair. . She seemed shy at first but she had a bubbly personality that Marinette found endearing. Her oldest maid, Lily, was many years older than her but they were close since Marinette had grown up with her since birth. She had also been her mothers main maid as well. . Marinette rubbed the tiredness from her eyes and sat up in bed. They helped her slip off her nightgown that was frilled up and messy, as she stepped into the tub they had drawn for her. It was filled with vanilla beans and peach blossoms. They bathed her with fine oils and combed conditioner through her locks. ~~~ This story is going to be a Duchess and Prince AU. It is going to be an adrienette love story that will soon grow into something more. I don't know yet, but there might contain some lines of smut, so if there will be, you have been warned.
