Following the events of last book, everyone is back in the Protego Base. Quinci Laciasal, the heir of Team Valor, and Shelly Yangtze, the heir of Team Mystic, had both had their powers removed from them because an mysterious villain called The Guy had captured the legendary birds Moltres and Articuno, severing their connection from the heirs. But since Zapdos willingly gave himself over to The Guy, Raichu Human's, the feared leader of Team Instinct, lightningbending still remains. The group of friends figure out what The Guy is up to next: to capture all the legendaries in the entire world. At first, he seemed unstoppable with his super powerful group of pokemon under his total control, but the friends soon realize that a mysterious plant called the blooberry could reverse the effects of the GMO razzberries, the source of all The Guy's power. They soon realize that The Guy, whose real name had been revealed to be Ash Ketchup, was also after the blooberry so he could capture the legendary Mew. Will the heirs find the cure before Ash does?
