During a battle against the empire they captured the red Paladin. The Paladins must flee to live to get Keith back. While in captivity he becomes a lab rat for a new experiment. Which doesn't go as they plan.

Over the years while Emperor Zarkon was searching all over the universe for the lions he enslaved the best scientists and engineers from different planets in which created the Viper Decimator. Among the enslaved was a female human that caught Emperor Zarkon's attention in which he kept her as a personal slave in order to figure out why the earthling intrigued him. One day something happened as someone let the slaves out as they all got away as well as the Viper Decimator has mysteriously disappeared. Katherine Sinclair now seventeen years old and has been going to Galaxy Garrison to become a fighter pilot. After finally getting on to the castle of lions Zarkon walks to the bridge where his men of all the inhabitants of the castle knocked out on the floor. Telling his men to grab them and take them to the ship making sure there is nothing wrong with them and then take them to his room. Who is it that looks like his ex? What is he going to do? Is he becoming less insane? This takes place shiro comes back but before Kaith leaves for the blade.

A/N: this happened when Keith left the team and join the blade of the Marmora, meet his mom, lotor goes against the galra by helping Voltron. Lance is an Altean living in the middle of the Enchanted Forest without a care in the world. It was just him and his tree. Until he runs into a Balmeran named Hunk being taken to Lord Zarkon, a cruel tyrant trying to take over the Enchanted Forest. Lance decides that the only way to save his home is to make an agreement with the Lord. However, this agreement comes at a cost. All he has to do is travel through the Dark Forest, find a castle guarded by a fire-breathing dragon, sneak past the dragon to save the prince and then bring the Prince back to Lord Zarkon before the month is up. What could go wrong?

The paladins are awoken by the Galra! It's up to the Paladins to shut down the ship and get back alive. But when Pidge and Keith get ambushed in the control room they both make a run for it. Keith makes it back to his lion assuming Pidge is behind him, but once he reaches the castle his friend's faces tell him another story.

It didn't really help that his older brother Lotor was ever eager to follow their father in his own horrid ways.
