"Rainsford, please don't leave, " Zaroff whispered, tracing his fingers along Rainsford's' wrist. "I'm sorry I can't." Rainsford started to turn away but Zaroff grabbed his wrist and spun him around. Their faces were now inches apart. Rainsford could feel his heartbeat quicken. The room felt cramped, hot air mingled between their slow breathes. As they began edging closer the tip of Rainsford's nose barely brushed against Zaroff's, sending excited shivers down his spine. Rainsford cleared his throat and began to speak again, his voice just barely audible. "Zaroff I have to tell you something important. It's about t-" But before he could finish the door to the bedroom jolted open. The men jumped away in surprise as a tall figure stood in the doorway. It was Ivan, Zaroff's brooding manservant. He was back from the dead. This time, with a strong thirst for revenge. ****** A story I wrote because I was bored in class. Enjoy :D

Can you really call this a sequel because I honestly think it's more of a spin off A sequel to The Most Dangerous Game. Zaroff is haunting Rainsford.

"The Most Dangerous Game", also published as "The Hounds of Zaroff", is a short story by Richard Connell, first published in Collier's on January 19, 1924. The story features a big-game hunter from New York City who falls off a yacht and swims to what seems to be an abandoned and isolated island in the Caribbean, where he is hunted by a Russian aristocrat. The story is inspired by the big-game hunting safaris in Africa and South America that were particularly fashionable among wealthy Americans in the 1920s. Ps. This is one of my favorite story All credits to the original Author

This is an original continuation of "The Most Dangerous Game". I highly recommend that you read the actual story first to get a better understanding of what's going on, but if you don't, that's fine. It contains spoilers of what happens in the first story, so you have been warned!!! Once again, this is an original continuation that I made. Happy reading! :) I do NOT own "TMDG". All rights go to the author.
