All the Pridelanders knew Safi. You couldn't miss her with her extra bangs of hair and distinctive blue eyes, or that she was almost always in the company of King Simba himself or Prince Kion, and sometimes both. Everyone reasoned that, with King Simba and Prince Kion watching over her, Safi would grow up to be a very happy, cheerful, well ~ groomed cub. But they also knew she had a past: a past she never talked about, and, when people did ask her, she flinched, or dodged the questions she was posed. As if she didn't want to talk about it. It was also generally known Safi's "family" in Pride Rock was not her own, but, rather, one she had herself chosen. Only Safi knew her full story, and she was playing things very close to the chest, despite concerned voices often following her wherever she went. She would not tell anyone her secret. At least until the day came when Safi's past was standing in front of her and talking to her.

He almost killed her brother. She hates him for it. Now he is trapped in her kingdom, injured, famous, and impossible to ignore. As danger creeps closer, Rani is forced to work with Kion, even while every instinct tells her to push him away.

The sun did not merely rise over the Pride Lands; it erupted. A blaze of molten gold crested the horizon, painting the sky in violent hues of orange and crimson that seemed to mirror the coat of the lioness sleeping within the highest alcove of Pride Rock. The air was thick with the scent of dry grass and warm stone. Birds began their morning chorus, a symphony of chirps and calls that usually signaled the start of the King's day. But for Aisha, the "Shadow Lioness," morning was not a time for duty. It was a time for hunting practice. Deep within the shadows of her private den, adjacent to the main royal chambers, Aisha lay sprawled on a bed of soft moss and dried reeds. Her bright crimson fur glowed faintly in the dim light, contrasting sharply with the grey stone walls. To an untrained eye, she appeared to be in a deep, lazy slumber. Her chest rose and fell rhythmically, her eyes closed, her long red tail twitching occasionally against the floor.

In my book, Mufasa is "King of Asavara" but is also one of the best generals the world has ever seen. Sarabi is "Queen of Asavara" is one of the best war nurses/medics/surgeons the world has seen. Mufasa and Sarabi's closest friends are Malka, Rais, Rhaenyra, and Sarafina. Malka & Rais fight alongside Mufasa in countless battles and are Mufasa's second and third in command. Malka and Rais are also considered to be the best generals. Sarafina's and Rhaenyra are also warsurgeons like Sarabi. Mufasa, Sarabi, Rais, Sarafina, Rhaenyra, and Malka will go down in history as the best of the best in what they do. Little did the six living legends know their legacy would be carried in their children, but in their legacy, a new legacy is born.. Mufasa and Sarabi's reign is approaching an end.. Who will be chosen as the next King? Or Queen..? Mufasa and Sarabi's options for a successor are Taka, Sima & Simba [order from oldest to youngest]. King Simba and his queen, Nala, have defeated Scar after he killed Mufasa and took over pride rock. Simba and Nala start their own family by having 3 cubs, Kopa, Kiara, and Kion. This is known as the lion king 2, or Simba's pride. But with some twists.

This book is mainly about Simba's life. From childhood to adulthood. What else could have happened besides the events in all of the three movies? It's all in this book. Kiara and Kion have one question they've wanted to ask forever. "What is Zazu's Backstory?" So, they beg Simba and Zazu to tell them the story. (Well, not Simba but Zazu) Zazu is hesitant to reveal his own backstory. What is Zazu's backstory and is it anything similar to Simba's?

Akida is and has always been serious. Not being as curious as his older brother, Simba. Akida's role in the Circle of Life is to protect his brother and future king. But how does one succeed in doing that if his charge runs off and gets himself in life-threatening situations without thinking it through? You don't. {Lion King plot and characters belong to Disney.
