I love all things Edgar Allan Poe, so when I first read The Tell-Tale Heart, I wanted to write my own tale told from the murderer's point of view. The only way I could make my own story work is if I write my own way - not copy, no homages. And, of course, get to a frame of mind to become a madman -- religious-zealot-misogynistic-first-kill-crazy-madman head (or what I think it is like). So, this is it. I hope you like this. ❤️ My Thank You's: 1. Thank you, Google! Lots of 'neck anatomy', 'strangle in detail' 'strangle fatal' 'trachea break' 'strangulation minutes to die' etc searches. 2. Thank you, Robert Ludlum and Jason Bourne, for teaching me when I was 15 the proper way to fatally strangle someone. 3. Finally, a huge thanks to my brother who gave me anatomical and medical advice. Me: Point to me how blue. (Beat.) Oh, very blue. Him: Purple, too. Me: If I strangle someone, how long will it take for them to die? 🔥💖

The First Jewish-Roman War (A.D. 66-73) retold in a novel feeling. The stories surrounding Jerusalem and its final years are given as clearly as possible for this book, and as entertaining as possible, too. Hence why the book is presented in a casual manner, to make the stories easier to grasp than a mere formality. Learn how the Sicarii, Romans, Sadducees, and early Christians are involved in this war (or not at all in the case of the Christians). The book also recounts the lives of people before and during the war: such as Messiah Jesus of Nazareth, Emperor Nero, Apostles Paul and James the Just, High Priests Ananias and Ananus Ben Ananus, Governor (and later historian) Josephus, Zealot leaders John of Gischala and Simon bar Giora, and Generals (and later emperors) Vespasian and Titus. In general, this is a Christian book, which aims to put Jesus in his respectful place. Now published! Look up "Daughter of My People: Jesus' Jerusalem Destroyed" or copy-and-pause the name of the book.

DID YOU KNOW KING SOLOMON WAS WIDELY BELIEVED TO BE A MAGICIAN WHO WORKED MIRACLES AND CONTROLLED SPIRITS? AND THAT MANY PEOPLE VIEWED JESUS IN THE SAME WAY, OFTEN DEPICTING HIM WITH A WAND? This entertaining, thought-provoking, and meticulously researched narrative examines the wealth of ancient beliefs that dramatically influenced the development of Christianity. This narrative expertly demonstrates how belief in magic, the imminent arrival of an apocalyptic savior and man's divinity merged into a cultural expectation that shaped the legendary status of a lowly carpenter and forever altered how the west would see the world. Both devout and subversive in the best sense, MYTHS OF CHRISTIANITY makes a provocative case that many widely-held beliefs concerning the nature of God, the origin of the Devil, the role of prophets - even the identity of the Son of God - may not stem from Hebrew religion at all, but from numerous ancient traditions, including ancient Persian and Roman cults. Distinguishing between uplifting Christian principles and stifling customs, this engaging and relatable account sets aside many of the dogmatic, and often divisive traditions so entrenched in our culture by revealing their lost origins. DISCOVER WHAT BRUCE LEE, OBAMACARE AND EVEN DISNEY CARTOONS HAVE IN COMMON WITH THE WRITTEN HISTORY AND ACCURACY OF CHRIST'S TEACHINGS. Personal and often humorous, MYTHS OF CHRISTIANITY provides an honest and faithful study of the history and foundation of Christianity so we can better understand the true, life-affirming role Christianity is meant to play in our lives. You may be surprised, you may be overwhelmed, you may even be troubled, but you will certainly never look upon Christian tradition the same way again!
