Schon oft hat sie Komatsu beschützt. Auf einer Reise mit ihm lernt sie den Gourmethunter Toriko kennen. Zusammen mit Komatsu begleitet sie ihn auf gefährliche Abenteuer. Kimiko is a young woman who has her own restaurant that was staffed by strange, mysterious and colorful creatures called Pokemon. She and her Pokemon staff have been working at their modest restaurant called PokeCafe, as some people keep wanting to see the Pokemon for various reasons. Her restaurant has been her whole life ever since she lived in a new world where food is the center of everything. The world of the Gourmet Age! Then when her friend named Komatsu needs help to bring back some rare meats as part of a menu, the two meet a Gourmet Hunter named Toriko to help them find what they need. Along the way, she meets three other Gourmet Hunters. They (plus Toriko) are known as... The Four Heavenly Kings. Now, Kimiko along with her friends and her Pokemon will follow many adventures, leading them to battle ferocious beasts, explore dangerous environments, find rare meats, and confront the Gourmet Corp, a criminal organization seeking to control the world's food supply.

Inspired by the animated movie, Night of the Zoopocalypse, Zola is an oc I made and her inclusion in this story. Zola is a young zebra who recently got into the Colepepper Zoo with her parents Muriel and Henry. She is a bit shy but her parents assure her that she'll fit in and make friends along the way. She is able to do some stunts like run quickly, jump high and have a strong kick like a horse. When a meteor crashes into the zoo, she'll have to team up with other animals to stop the gum-beasts that have infected everyone they love, especially her parents.

Shortly after Toriko leaves for space with Komatsu and the other Heavenly Kings, Rin experiences bouts of nausea. When she discovers the reason for them, she's torn between being euphoric and wary of not being able to be beside Toriko through the whole ordeal. The only thing left to do is to wait for the delicious change in her life. *Edit: I rewrote the first chapter of the story, so if you want to go directly to the story you should probably go to the second chapter.
