Here's the second book of the Animals On Earth Series, this time it's about African Animals which includes the likes of Elephants, crocodiles, lions, meerkats, mongooses, warthogs, caracals, cheetahs, ostritches, rhinos, tick-birds, buffalo, gazzele, wildebeest, chimpanzees, hippos, vultures, and so much more.

Reagan Marie Dalton is curious. Why does her mom leave at the crack of dawn and come back late at night? Where does she go? What does she do? Bob's life as an average zebra. Most if not all wild black zebras(being very rare to be born) are killed by hyenas or lions before they reach 6 months. Black Zebras have an amazing dark color due to a small genetic abnormality linked to the amount of melanin affecting the pigmentation of the fur(I looked it up). Because they are different they are a target to predators, in nature if your different you are killed. Even though it's sad it's true...

Time's up is about a man who is turned into a zebra and needs to find his way back to a magician before time is up other wise he will stay a zebra forever.

I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms. I extended them too high for they have hit the glittery dream catcher hanging on the headboard of my bed. The said item dropped on my face. "Argh, get off me." I removed the dream catcher from my face and sat up on my bed. I turned my gaze to the clock on the side table; it was 7:15. "Ugh," I moaned. "it's too early." I closed my eyes and tried to sleep again. A few minutes passed until somebody knocked on the door. "Marie," said the person who knocked on the door. "Let's go already!" Shoot, I forgot. No wonder I woke up so early. I quickly rose to my feet and rushed to the bathroom. "Marie! Are you even awake?" I didn't respond just yet because I was in the shower. A few moments later, the same person knocked on my door. "I've got the keys, Marie," she said. I could hear her shaking the keys outside my door. "You can't stay asleep forever!" Hurriedly, I placed on my blue blouse and pants. I grabbed the brush from the bathroom and started to comb my dark brown hair. Rushing to the door, I opened it to see my friend Ranie Accendo. I eyed her gray blazer over her white shirt, pants, and boots. "What took you so long?" she asked. "Nevermind that." I shook my hand dismissively. "Where are we going? If it's not important, I'm going back to bed." "To the forest." "The forest? Why?"
