Even in the land of Hyrule that has been decimated by Calamity Ganon for 100 years, there still remains legends that any male born born into in the Gerudo tribe will fall victim to a terrible curse. But what happens when a child is born after ten thousand years since the last transcribed sighting of one? Cast out of his tribe in fear that he might become the monster that his ancestor had become, Dragmire becomes a traveller in hopes of finding out if he is truly cursed as those claim he is. Although the passing years were full of difficulty navigating this harsh world, Dragmire holds on to hope that he can crave out a normal life for himself. But when he finds a Hylian gravely injured from an ambush, the exiled Gruedo decides to care for him. However, things don't get much easier when someone from Dragmire's past becomes the new leader of the Yiga Clan, wanting them both dead.

[Discontinued] Following the death of her mother, Zelda comes face to face with anxiety and guilt as she sees her father go from happy and warm, to cold and furious. Although it wasn't her fault, the anger was always taken out on her, to the point that parent and child no longer had any social interaction. After Zelda is awarded a scholarship when her father becomes principal of a prestigious high school, she is forced to tear off all past relationships to focus on one thing and one thing only. To get principal's daughter worthy grades. Not about the guy with blue earrings and a ponytail that doesn't seem to speak. Or the rumors that are floating around her. Not even the Gerudo guy who's eyes always seem to follow Zelda... '...I'm not supposed to pay attention to those things at all. I'm supposed to focus on my studies. But, oh Hylia what have I gotten myself into!' This is a Modern School AU, enjoy! Young Zelda and her twin brother Link have been living on their own for years, along with their friend Aryll. When a famine and dying forest life force them into the gerudo desert, they find themselves in a difficult situation. They are rescued by non other than the ruthless warriors of the desert themselves, the gerudo. They even get an offer to join the mysterious group of noble warriors. They accept, and Zelda finds herself training amongst the other gerudo youth. Her new life proves to much better than her old one. She and her siblings no longer have to fight every single day for survival, and they feel as though their lives finally have purpose. The security of their new life is not garunteed, however. Danger remains a prominent factor in their lives, some sources closer than they think. A rogue group of former gerudo lurk just beyond their old home, and the hylians have become more and more aggressive ever since the famine. As if that wasn't enough to worry about, a prophecy of one destined to be a strong, powerful leader and save the gerudo race from the ever darkening shadows arises. Will Zelda figure out a way to save her newfound home?

A modern Au of Zelda Botw (and possibly Totk later on) that follows the events of the game but in a more modern way! It will be told from Zelda's point of view at first, then links when it gets to that part of the story!The first four chapters will be short and almost exactly the same as the memories, however after that it will kick off into more of its own story while still following the memories! If you can get through the first 5 very short chapters I'm sure it will be worth it! Some elements of magic and fantasy will still be present in this book even though it's more modern! This might not be written all too well because it is really just practice for writing; nonetheless, I hope you enjoy it all the same. Note: I do take critique and suggestions on my writing, whether that's the writing itself or the story. Zelda and Link meet at school before a test. Link is severely sleep-deprived, and Zelda's friend is out sick. While usually an introvert, Link's tired brain seizes the opportunity to sit next to the girl he's noticed since school began. Completed, but not 'wrapped up' just a cute fluffy ending.
