They named the first daughter Zelda, hoping the Goddess Hylia would answer their prayers and keep the tradition of her unlocked the sacred power to seal Calamity Ganon. The second daughter, (Y/n), was hidden from the public eye at the request of the King. Zelda spent almost her whole life with government studies and prayer being stuffed into her face, her personal passions being frowned upon. (Y/n), on the other hand, had no duties to fulfill and instead studied alongside her sister, became a knight, and made a certain special friend. Despite having a place among those she's closest to, she still feels confused, as if something in her life quite hasn't clicked into place yet... ...that is, until her entire world crumbles whenever she realizes that her true purpose is that of which her sister had been promised her entire life. It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. What happened to Link after he left Termina? This story aims to bridge the gap between what happened after the adventure in Termina and his spectral appearance before the Hero of Twilight. I highly recommend playing the video games The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess before reading this story. Taking place many, many years after the in-game events of BoTW, there are new reincarnations around. The land of Hyrule has changed, yet the Sheikah technology holds true, improving with time. When the king of Hyrule comes to Gerudo Town asking for lost Sheikah Tech, the life of the Gerudo King takes a turn for the worst, leaving him without the things he holds most dear to him. When Ganon begins having dreams about someone named Azazel, he searches for clues and points on who they really are, and what they want. With the people he cares about on the line, Ganon must make a choice: give into being like his ancestors, or find a way to become a hero and save everyone.

A Zelda Breath of the Wild story set before the calamity when Link becomes a knight and during his times at knight academy, and when he is zelda's personal knight it's mostly from Link's pov since he doesn't talk much or show much emotion (he will talk in this story) there will be some pov changes.

100 years ago in the calamity that struck Hyrule, there were 6 champions chosen by the princess. They all helped fight in the calamity but we're all ultimately killed, except for two. This fierce duo dominated the battle field until Gannon crushed them. (Not literally crushed they were defeated) Princess Zelda, loosing her best friends, people who stuck with her through hardship, used ancient shielah technology to bring her friends back. 100 years later Zarya and Link have awoken but retained no knowledge of their past. It is up to them to rebuild their friendship, maybe more, while defeating the calamity. Zelda is trapped in Hyrule Castle and it is up to them to save it. Ganon's return is imminent, and the Goddess has abandoned Hyrule. The Queen, incarnate of Hylia, died 1 year ago and the search for a hero was unfruitful. Hidden away in the castle, however, lies a t-girl, locked away from the world by her Father, King Rhoam. She could take her mother's place, if only he'd let her try.

Rebuilding is always the hardest part. Now that Ganon has been defeated, it is up to Zelda and Link to stitch up the remaining wounds of the past and rebuild Hyrule. However, for Zelda that is not such an easy task. The world she remembers from before is gone, eased away by the bleeding of time, a fact that she must learn to cope with on her own. Yet, there is hope for her. Despite the passing of time, Zelda is able to find a little slice of home.
