Soon, seventeen-year old Zelda will be forced to marry if she cannot make her decision on her own. She must follow the Royal Law, one which her father strictly enforces. She must chose one suitor to take over the kingdom and rule alongside her. 1. The suitor must come from a royal bloodline. 2. The suitor must be an ally of Hyrule. 3. If the royal does not choose his/her suitor in a time span decided by the King or Queen, they must be forced to marry the King or Queen's ideal suitor. Time quickly running out, Zelda realizes she does not want to marry someone that only cares about inheriting the throne. She wishes to marry for happiness. And if she cannot prove herself and her happiness to her father soon enough, she will be forever forced into a life she does not want to live. Every week Zelda's parents hold a masquerade ball to encourage her to find a husband. At one particular dance, Zelda meets someone she feels she has seen before but has trouble remembering. He comes to every masquerade, but his face is always covered. Will she figure out who this mysterious suitor is? While this is a romance type novel, nothing inappropriate is in it. PLOT CHANGES ARE HAPPENING! I want to make a story I enjoy, and I am doing a recon of the story, there are going to be some plot changes in Link and Zelda becoming friends earlier and such, I'm sorry if you liked the previous story better, but after re-reading I wanted to change to to a new direction. It has been five wonderful years after the Twilight Invasion, four years after Ganondorf's second reign of terror. Link and Zelda lead their normal lives, and Midna visits often from the Twilight Realm. In honor of the five year anniversary of the ending of the Twilight Invasion, Zelda plans a grand celebration. This is a Modern Hyrule AU where there's no Ganon, and mostly everyone is in highschool. Zelda, the principal's daughter meets a very sweet soccer player, but is too embarrassed to even talk to him.

PART TWO: Link and Zelda set out to find out what the gloom coming from underneath the castle is. Lorel, their daughter, must help the kingdom in their must desprite time of need. Will Impa, Lorel and Gatha be able to help hyrule grow back to its former glory?

Link and Zelda are best friends but Zelda has caught feelings. She wants to tell Link but doesn't want to ruin their friendship. Ngl this fanfic really doesn't fit their personality, I just needed names. I wanted to use these names so you guys can fangirl/boy with me!
