Yeah, this is basically what might happen after link faces calamity Ganon in Breath of the Wild with a bit of zeldaxlink and later some Rijuxlink.

A young boy was taken as a child by assassins known as the Yiga. He was raised and trained by them and turned into a cold-blooded, merciless assassin. One Night after another, yet a successful mission, he is given a new mission Eliminate Princess Zelda He accepts the Mission, only for things to go very wrong.

If you saw an ad in the newspaper looking for one to edit the work of a shy, hopefully up-and-coming author, would you take the offer? Even if you knew little to nothing about them? Link did, he figured for once he'd take a chance to be surprised. He always seemed to avoid new changes, as he even still worked at his first job. His interest is piqued by the identity of the young author unknown but is too scared to meet up with her in person. Standing as one of the oldest employees and practically co-owner of Enzo's General Store and Flower Shop, however, keeps him busy, especially when a new employee barges her way into the staff. Link sees her as an annoying know it all who everyone takes to immediately, that is, except for him. So when the business starts to falter around her arrival, she's his first suspect. But is it really that simple? Everyone has a secret aspect of their life, and you should never assume anything about one unfamiliar. 100 years ago Link could only speak to one person. Zelda. But when he fell in battle, he was sent to the Shrine of Resurrection only to lose all his past memories. Now, although he has regained all the memories on his Sheikah Slate, he still has many left that he must regain, including one which will result in either never being alone again, of living the rest of his life in the wild, alone. This is my first story so it won't be world class writing. I will try to upload every week however I won't make any promises. Also, there will be some Zelink in it. Well, when I mean some, I mean A LOT ;) Also I know the title sounds like a story you may of already read 'After the Calamity' by yourtreebranchbroke, and I would like to say this story is NOT a remix of that story. If you have not read it yet though I would highly suggest to go read it and the story that comes before it 'Before the Calamity'! Its incredible! PS: Sorry if the uploads are very iregular, I have a lot of homework to do and I struggle to write under a time frame. Sorry!!
