Zelda and Link have defeated Calamity Ganon and are now free to go their own way. However, it is hard to get to grips with their past, which can get in the way of their present. And as if that isn't hard enough, there seems to be a new threat that they will need to face. **This story takes place directly after Breath of the Wild and has no link to Tears of the Kingdom. Don't forget to check out the sequel: Noble by Nature!

18 year old Zelda's hard work finally pays off when she is accepted into Hyrule Academy, the private school where only the best are allowed to attend. Everything seems to be perfect until she meets an athlete, Link, who everyone is willing to die for in a heartbeat, and suddenly problems begin to follow her around. Even though they both clearly express their dislike of one another, they somehow find themselves running into each other again and again... Ok, listen - I know (think) that Wind is a mix of WW, PH and ST (Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks), but I thought it would be cool when Spirit would be separate. Especially because he doesn't get enough attention! So, the chain meets Spirit and first think he isn't a Link, but then they do realize it. But somehow, another great evil came into Spirit's world, an evil that doubled itself and tried to bring an old one back...

This story takes place in the four swords timeline, of course everything won't be to the tea accurate and have my own characters added in, the main characters are link, Zelda and dark link. I feel like I'll spoil too much but the time is after they defeat Vatii and there's peace in hyrule, for now. This is one of a three-part series. Silent Knight, which is this one, Silent Night in the Wild, which covers Link's journey through Breath of the Wild, and Calm Night, which is a Zelink story taking place after BOTW. And when BOTW 2 finally comes out, I'll probably make one that's canonically between Silent Night in the Wild and Calm Night. Does that make sense? No? Great! Since Age of Calamity, spoiler alert, isn't actually a prequel, it looks like I'll actually have to write a prequel story now. And this time, we're not going to SKIP OVER ALL THE MEMORIES AFTER STARTING SUPER SLOW *pours the salt shaker*. We're actually going to start at the day before Link is appointed as a champion. DISCLAIMER- This is my own interpretation of the character "Link" from Breath of the Wild. This is not canon or official, and I do not own Creating a Champion so some information may conflict with that. Link is essentially a, well, link, between the player and the world, so I'll be giving him a personality that I think suits him. Because I'm the player, and I can reflect whatever I choose on him. Nintendo, don't you see how annoying it is? I'm grasping at strings here. Please. Anywayyyyy, enjoy!
