As he was sent away on a dangerous quest Zelda never stopped thinking of him, nor stopped reading his letters. Until the day came he returned... She wasn't as excited as she was before to see him. Even after defeating the Calamity, the darkness never seems to fade away. Link and Zelda have started to move on with their lives, but some scars never truly heal. A one-shot set after the events of BotW! Spoilers about the end of the game!

Link is a Hyrulian Knight who has been in some weird scenarios lately. He has just found the Master Sword, but he is summoned to Hyrule Castle by King Rhoam to stop a big threat. An Alternate Interpretation of Pre Breath of the Wild. Is connected to the other stories if you have read them. All characters unless if blatantly obvious such as Interdimensional, are owned by Nintendo.

When fate brings an island boy and a pirate girl together, things don't initially work out between them. But put them in a worldwide crisis, and guided by a talking boat, they'll have to work together to save Hyrule from evil by resurrecting a sleeping country from its tomb. Who knows, maybe a Hero and a Pirate can fall in love too.

After defeating Ganondorf, Zelda gives Link a mirror that allows them to communicate no matter how far apart they are. Link goes on a hunting trip and falls through a portal. There, he meets the Chain. (This is part of the same AU as last year.) Just a head's up, the chapters vary in length. Some are very short.

What if after Link defeated Ganondorf, Zelda never turned back? What if Link discovered that beneath the Ring Ruins, there lies the last Secret Stone? Navi told him what happened to her when they went back in time (It's the Navi dies theory) so Link didn't go looking for her. Instead, he stayed in Hyrule, ending up becoming best friends with Zelda.
