It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. Eggman is on the loose again and Sonic, along with Tails, Knuckles and Amy, gather to stop him. But, when it looks like they cleared all of the robots, Shadow shows up, brainwashed by Eggman, and fights the group. This gives Eggman the perfect distraction, after getting rid of Tails off his back, to aim his "deadly" weapon to them, which, in typical Eggman fashion, backfires, affecting everyone mentioned. On the other hand, 2 years after the events of Tears of The Kingdom, Link and Zelda discuss their future plans in the rebuilt and renovated Hyrule Castle, a discussion which abruptly ends when disrupted by a loud, abnormal sound.

An already delayed date gets a new coat of fresh black paint in this BotW AU Zelink, where Link discovers Zelda has changed since 100 years ago, as it has now been about a year after Link beat Calamity Ganon, and she has a whole new personality to match her new look! (Story is in Link's POV, and he doesn't talk) I do NOT own the characters in this story, as all "Legend of Zelda" characters are owned by Nintendo. This is also my first story, so it may not be much, but who knows? I altered an existing official photo for TotK, I don't own the original photo, but I made the thumbnail.

When Link wakes after one hundred years of slumber and no recollection of the past, he must struggle to remember who he is. Author's note: My version on Fanfiction is a little different than the norm. I find myself more interested in what's already there rather than creating all new material. When I initially began writing this, it was basically Breath of the Wild through Link's POV. Although I quickly found myself bored writing the whole story and wanting to focus solely on the memory flashbacks. So this fanfic is just that. It follows Links memories in chronological order. (Although this contains a bit of edited and new material to strengthen Link and Zelda's bond.) I've always wanted to write through Link's perspective. The idea has always been fascinating to me because he's just so stoic and quiet. So that begs the questions: what is he thinking, what is he feeling? I'd like to shine a little light on the situation. :)

The night is cool, the stars sneak glimpses of the scene between layers of leaves with the strangest luminescent golden fruit hanging from winding branches. "Princess." After defeating the Calamity, the Yiga clan are planning to take over the kingdom. Link still the silent hero with feelings for the princess that he can't express. Zelda burdened by the task of ruling the kingdom alone. A new prince enters Zelda's life and they become increasingly closer.

The princess of Hyrule is in great danger. A radical group apposes her and the King, her Father's, political views and demands that she be removed from the throne. Her Father feels threatened by these rebels and calls for the help of the Sheikah, an ancient tribe sworn to protect the Royal Family. Unfortunately there is only one surviving member of the Sheikah, Lady Impa. She is assigned to protect the King. Zelda is then sent deep into the woods for her own protection until theses radicals are found out.
